The (Ancient) Egyptians encoded secret wisdom into their designs in order to stimulate a progression of the spiritual journey within each and every individual who was aware of the meanings/teachings.
Tutankhamun’s Headdress/A King Cobra:

As can be seen, there is a serpent featured upon the top of the headdress and indeed, the headdress itself looks like the head of snake such as the cobra. This all represents mental alchemy. It is the transformation of the mind from base level, negative, low-vibrational thinking into an elevated state of higher and positive thought for the serpent itself is a symbol of transformation given that a snake sheds its skin in order to accomodate their increasing size. Thus, it is likened to mental alchemy or the positive ‘growing’ of the mind.
The blue and gold stripes running across the headdress represent the sunrise – the sun-rays symbolizing ‘illumination’ – or the human mind becoming enlightened. The idea of self-awareness in an individual is paramount here, for a major part of the spiritual journey is a person realizing what is beyond their physical body and that they are intrinsical in the greater force of the universe.

The powerful belief represented in this headdress is the transforming of the human mind from low-level, fear-based, animalistic thinking into an elevated state of mental being whereupon our consciousness gains the God-like power to shift and create reality as we choose it to be.
